Beta Testing
I’m a gamer... I love to play new games and I enjoy the bug-finding process and experiencing new concepts in game-play and storytelling. Here is a list (maybe not comprehensive) of games that I’ve beta tested. There is nothing quite like helping in the creative process and being one of the first persons to explore a new world...
- Civony (open beta - 2009)
- World of Tanks (open beta - 2011)
- Jagged Alliance Online (closed beta - 2011)
- Mechwarrior Online (closed beta - 2012)
- The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot (closed beta - 2013)
- Firefall (closed beta - 2013)
- Panzer General Online (closed beta - 2013)
- Therian Saga (open beta - 2014)
- Elder Scrolls Online (closed beta - 2014)
- Prime World Online (open beta - 2014)
- World of Warplanes (closed beta - 2014)
- Archeage NA (closed beta - 2014)
- Trove (open beta - 2014)
- World of Tanks Generals (closed beta - 2015)
- Atlas Reactor (closed beta - 2015)
- Dragonmon Hunter US (closed beta - 2015)
- Devilian (closed beta - 2015)
- Black Dessert Online (closed beta - 2016)
Though I very much enjoy trailblazing through new content I do so with a serious intent, testing and submitting bug reports as I go. I do not subscribe to the recent trend of buying into beta access with early founder packs or any such nonsense. Beta testing is half work and half play. If I’m beta testing then I’m taking it seriously, submitting well documented bug reports and feedback. I don’t expect to have to pay to test a game.
